LATEST UPDATE: UCL: Beat Chelsea pocket N1m each, PSG charges players

President of high riding Le Parisien (PSG) Nasser Al-Khelaifi has promised to pay each player an enhanced bonus of 450,000 euros (about N1m) each should they beat Chelsea today and advance to the semi final of the UEFA champions league.
PSG is entering today’s quarter final decider at Stamford Bridge with a 3-1 first leg advance. And the club president says his boys need all the moral and financial support to complete the job.
Meanwhile the club’s Uruguayan forward, Edinson Cavani has vowed to destroy Chelsea in today’s game declaring that he would effectively step into the shoes of injured Swedish front man Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Ibra picked up a hamstring strain in the Paris first leg.
Cavani, who scored against Reims at the weekend in Ibrahimovic’s absence, is sure he can shine in a more central attacking role.
“I am better in the axis,” the Uruguayan told L’Equipe. “This is normal; this is my job. It’s a great responsibility for me.” Cavani stressed that himself and his team mates have no option but to finish the job of sending Chelsea packing from the money spinning champions league.
“We will be very focused. It will be hard but we can do it. We have a responsibility to finish the job,” he said.
