Nasarawa 2015: Eggon elders adopt Ewuga as PDP consensus candidateThe Eggon nation yesterday endorsed former Minister for State, Federal Capital Territory (F.C.T) and the senator representing Nasarawa North Senatorial District, Solomon Ewuga as governorship aspirant for PDP in the state.
This followed a decision taken at Eggon Community Secondary School, Nasarawa Eggon yesterday by prominent sons and daughters of Eggonland led by Hon. Sunday Namo where they stated that the committee set up by the Eggon people has recommended Senator Solomon Ewuga as the right choice for the Eggon people hence the need for all hands to be on deck to ensure his success both at primary and the general elections.
Namo also called on the people of Nasarawa state to rally round Senator Ewuga to enable him succeed in the task ahead as he equally called on Eggon people to support the aspirations of two Eggons sons, Prince James Angbazo of APC and Mr. David Ombugaku of APGA to enable them succeed in their parties as candidates.
The motion was moved by former member, Nasarawa State House of Assembly and former Minister for Water Resources and Rural Development, Hon. Samuel Alu and was seconded by a member of Eggon Youth Movement from Lafia local government Mr. John Audu.
