Members of the National Working Committee of the People’s Democratic Party today granted the much needed waiver to boost the governorship dreams of a former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.



The party also grant waivers to Brigadier General Buba Marwa (ret.) and Marcus Gundiri to participate in the primary process for the party during a meeting in Abuja today.



All three governorship aspirants had requested the waivers to enable them to vie in the primaries after they recently defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the PDP.



The NWC granted the waivers after a subcommittee set up by the party submitted a report favorable to Mr. Ribadu and others.
