Napoli president clears the air on Victor Osimhen's future
The President of Napoli, Aurelio de Laurentiis has shed light on the future of Victor Osimhen at the club.
The Italian was speaking at an interview after the UEFA Champions League, 3-2 defeat against Real Madrid at Naples on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. He was asked about the future of Victor Osimhen following the recent development about the video posted on the club's official Tiktok account.
"Osimhen was not even at issue. He’s a top player. New deal? Yes, there’s no problem. There are never problems here. All players are happy at Napoli, maybe the probably is just when they leave the club."
Osimhen's current contract at the Serie A club ends at the of this current season but there is no confirmation if he will sign a new contract. However, the forward player has cleared the air about his future stating that he loves Napoli and its supporters despite what the public thinks of the situation.
