Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has weighed in on the ongoing controversy surrounding actor Babatunde Bernard Tayo, aka Baba Tee, and skit maker Ijoba Lande’s wife, Darasimi.

Social media erupted after Baba Tee finally admitted to having an affair with Darasimi, a claim he had initially denied. The revelation prompted a strong reaction from Portable, who sent voice messages to Baba Tee, expressing disappointment over the situation.

In his messages, the Zazoo crooner revealed that he once held Baba Tee in high regard and never expected him to engage in such an act. He condemned the idea of sleeping with another man’s wife, warning that it brings setbacks in life.

Portable also took the opportunity to issue a stern warning regarding his own wife, actress Ashabi Simple. He declared that any man who dares to have an affair with her would face serious consequences.

He said, “Baba Tee, with the way I like you so much, you shouldn’t be sleeping with other people’s wives. You gave Lande’s wife doggy, is that how you people behave in the movie industry? I swear to God, if anybody moves close to my own wife, the person would die. My wife is an actress, if I see anybody doing rubbish with her, the person will die.”

However, despite his criticism, Portable concluded that Baba Tee was not solely to blame for the situation, stating that Ijoba Lande should be the one to caution his wife.

In addition to his direct messages, Portable further addressed the scandal in a video, where he sang about the controversy between Baba Tee and Ijoba Lande’s wife, adding his signature dramatic flair to the situation.
