2 Nigerian artists set to join Burna & Rema on the 2026 World Cup album
According to fresh reports, two new Nigerian artists are set to join both Burna Boy and Rema on the 2026 World Cup album.
Nigerian music's influence on the global stage continues to grow, with reports suggesting that Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr and rap powerhouse Odumodublvck have been added to the official 2026 FIFA World Cup album.
The pair are set to join an impressive lineup of African stars already linked to the project, including Burna Boy, who recently released the tournament's lead anthem "Daï Daï" alongside Shakira. Global hitmaker Rema was also on another song with artists Lisa and Anitta titled 'Goals.'
According to the reported tracklist, Ayra Starr will collaborate with American rapper Latto on a song titled "Show Me." The track is expected to blend Ayra's infectious Afropop sound with Latto's energetic rap style, creating one of the album's most anticipated cross-cultural records.
The collaboration comes at a significant moment for Ayra, following her recent success on the international awards circuit and ahead of her forthcoming third studio album.
Meanwhile, Odumodublvck is reportedly set for one of the most unexpected collaborations on the project. The Abuja-born rapper will feature on a track alongside Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho and Latin music stars Justin Quiles and Lenny Tavárez.
Known for his passion for football and frequent references to iconic players in his music, the collaboration represents a remarkable crossover moment between the worlds of sport and entertainment.
